Romeo's Massacre

A public retraction and apology to Rachel. Ray is NOT sad. He is happy and has a wonderful family. He just has sad eyes, as do all labs. I love Ray, I miss Ray and he's a happy dog and quite frankly, I'm a little upset that WT went away during my visit and took him with her so I couldn't stay with him. And the only reason I don't have his picture on my blog is because it wouldn't upload. When that gets remedied, Ray's happy, happy mug will be posted.
Sam isn't obnoxious and subversive and Muffin doesn't look like Rosie O'Donnell.
Well, actually, Sam is obnoxious and subversive. But I love him anyway.
Romeo caught a gardner (garden?) snake yesterday. I had a moral crisis on my hands. Do I let Romeo play and, inevitably, kill the snake or do I save it? After not too much deliberation (Romeo was happy, and when Romeo is happy Bubble Girl is happy) I allowed him to play, poor snake. That changed when I heard, "CRUNCH" "CRUNCH" and I got a little nauseous, at which point I noticed the little pool of blood accumulating on the cement patch in the backyard. Time to put an end to Romeo's massacre. Bravely, I put the damaged, albeit still ALIVE, snake into a plastic bag and left it at the side of the house. It's still there. I have no idea what to do with it, and I didn't sleep last night feeling terribly guilty about having a half dead snake suffering at my hands. I'm a terrible, terrible person.
Animals that haven't been addressed on my blog yet: Pearl and Ruby and Amaretto. I'll get there Cassy and Amy, don't worry.
And English? Well, English is perfect, so there's nothing to say. I love English more than is healthy for any human being to love someone else's animal.
Is everyone happy now?

Should I be a proud mom?

OMG. I have the heebe-jeebes...and I can't stop shuddering. Have I mentioned that I have a highly severe and highly irrational fear of SNs? (We're not even allowed to say the word in my house.) So, it is required that you post a warning prior to any mentions henceforth...;) While I laud Romeo, I am nauseous too and must think of other things QUICKLY. Howz life?
